This Privacy Notice explains how Makro ("we", "us") collects, uses and discloses your personal data when you register for the United Class CEO Roundtable (the "Event"), in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").
1. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact data: first name, last name, email address and phone number.
- Professional data: company name and position.
- Event data: registration reference, QR pass, check-in time, and your consent records (including date, time and IP address).
2. Purposes of processing
- To process your registration, verify eligibility and manage seat allocation.
- To send your QR pass and event-related communications.
- To verify your identity and record attendance at check-in.
- With your separate consent only: to send you news, offers and invitations to future Makro events.
3. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in organising and securing the Event. Marketing communications are sent only if you have given optional consent.
4. Disclosure
Your data may be shared with our event organiser and service providers (such as hosting and email delivery providers) solely for the purposes above, under appropriate data protection obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
Registration data is retained for up to 12 months after the Event, unless a longer period is required by law or you have consented to marketing communications, in which case we keep your contact data until you withdraw consent.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to request data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
